Bonus Potential
Miles Kimball managers are eligible for a bonus based on results of annual goals and company fiscal performance.
401(K)
To help you prepare for the future, Miles Kimball Company sponsors a 401(k) and Roth Plan as part of its benefit package. Employees can contribute up to 50 percent of their pay. MKC will match 100 percent on the first percent of the deferral and 50 percent on the next five percent of your deferral with a vesting schedule of two years.
Profit Sharing
This plan is based on Blyth’s annual profit in which the profit sharing received is based on earnings during the fiscal year. The profit sharing payment will go directly into the 401(k) Plan with a vesting schedule of up to five years.
Health
Miles Kimball Company fosters a healthy and safe work environment which allows us to provide a comprehensive medical plan that has had a minimal increase in cost for the past seven years. The plan also includes a prescription drug benefit program through retail and mail order.
Dental
Our dental benefit plan provides a comprehensive program to ensure your dental health. Coverage is included for important preventive care, and also for treatment needed as a result of dental disease or accidental injury. We offer 100% coverage for diagnostic and preventitive services which includes 4 cleanings per year.
Vision
Our vision plan offers materials only coverage with no deductible to employees and their eligible dependents. This benefit provides coverage for frames, lenses, or contact lenses once every 12 months.
Life Insurance
We provide life and AD&D insurance along with voluntary life insurance to our employees and their dependents. Basic life insurance of one and a half times of one’s annual salary is offered to employess at no cost.
Education Assistance
MKC believes in continuous education for our full-time team members; therefore, we offer education assistance to cover the cost of tuition and books. Classes must be related to the current job or foreseeable future position within the organization.
Gainsharing
Gainsharing is a tool to maximize organization profits and performance, through a high involvement work environment with pay aligned to results. Gainsharing will be earned if Miles Kimball Company meets or exceeds the EBIT goals for the fiscal year.
Employee Computer Purchase Program
Miles Kimball Company offers a 10% discount on a Dell system to all MKC team members.
Paid Time Off (PTO) & Holidays
PTO is offered to Miles Kimball team members based on years of service. We offer a prorated amount to new team members in their first year of employment up to 15 days. This time off can be used for vacation, personal, or sick time. The company provides a generous holiday schedule consisting of nine paid holidays.
Short and Long Term Disability
We offer disability pay for a short/long term disability.
Generous Product Discounts
Miles Kimball generously offers team members a 35 percent discount on the purchase of our catalog merchandise. Team members are also eligible to receive a 20 percent discount at Rogan’s Shoes on tennis shoes, oxfords, and other work shoes.

Wellness Program
We promote a healthy and tobacco-free work environment by offering free annual Health Risk Assessments which are tied to incentives, a fitness center discount, and an on-site Occupational Health nurse. The Wellness Connection, MKC’s wellness committee, raises awareness by providing information and implementing and supporting programs that promote healthy lifestyle choices.
